I'm sure they didn't have permission to use the song and that whoever wrote the song gets lots of money every time Jaws is shown, big goof. But does anyone know the song?

I definitely remember hearing that at the beginning of Jaws there was a radio on with a song playing and it was all to do with copyright they didn't get any, perhaps it's since been edited out or something, but I remember hearing the story on the radio about 2 years ago

okay why are you 'SURE' they didn't have permission? What are your sources? I really don't think Stephen Spielberg is an idiot and I've never heard of him being sued for using a 'song' he didn't have permission to use. I think you're just stretching it a bit and guessing here ;-)? Meanwhile, check out Lynn Anderson's I Honestly Love You, from the Jaws soundtrack.
