Usually between the 10th -12th week of pregnancy, your uterus will no longer be tipped or "backwards." This should cause no difficulty for the pregnancy or for labor and birth. If the uterus does not move into a "middle" position, miscarriage can occur, but this is very rare.

No. All the women in my family have a tilted uterus. It will tilt forward as the baby grows, and it wont make a different.
11 weeks is early for hearing a heartbeat on a doppler in the doctors office.
Because I was tilted my doctor couldnt find the heart beat with the doppler until about 13 weeks, and from then to 20 weeks she still had a hard time each visit. He just was sitting very far back, facing forward, in a tilted uterus. It put him closer to my spine than my belly.
Nothing to worry about.

I wouldn't worry at this point because you don't know anything for sure. Your tilted uterus could very well be the cause of the issue. Wait till you know something for sure.
Good luck Hun.
Remember stress isn't good for you or the baby!

I wouldn't worry about it. Having a tipped uterus is not a big deal. She is probably just wanting to MAKE SURE that is the reason she can't hear a heartbeat.

Hi, dont be worried at all! My uterous was titled backward as well...every doc i saw commented on it. Im now 26 weeks pregnant:) it will correct itself and if not (which is rare) they have solutions to helping you! The heartbeat can be hard to catch...my lil girl moves around a lot so it took longer to catch her in the right spot to hear it. Congratulations too you!

Don't worry , your doctor knows what he/ she is doing, if you really are stressing out that much, call thema nd ask them what is going on, it's your body and your baby...remeber that YOU have that right too know..but a tilted pelvis my mean a c section...hope this helps..

I don't think there's any need to worry. Anyway, if you want to be able to hear your baby's heartbeat anytime you want to, you can buy an electronic stethoscope, they're not that expensive and help you be less anxious, plus, its fun!
