It's the Shiite and Sunnis. They didn't just start fighting when we got there. They've been at it since the beginning of time. BUt those aren't the only ywo fighting for control. The terrorists and insurgents and different tribes and factions are also fighting for control. This is why it can't necessarily be a civil war. A civil war consists of two distinct groups fighting eachother. There are 9 or 10 groups in Iraq that are trying to take control.
