You would love The Princess Bride by William Goldman
Have you read C.S. Lewis' Series of "The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe"? There are 7 altogether in the Chronicles of Narnia.
A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle is another great one. Also by the same author, Swiftly Tilting Planet
Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O'Dell
From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler by E.L. Konigsburg
Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson
The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien (as well as the rest of the series of The Lord of the Rings)
I loved a book called Charlotte Sometimes when I was your age by Penelope Farmer
The Neverending Story by Michael Ende and Ralph Manheim
The Once and Future King is a good one, but it might be a bit too much for you now...
Keep adding books, sorry, but you may also like:
Misty of Chincoteague series of books by Marguerite Henry and Wesley Denni
The Black Stallion by Walter Farley (which is also a series should you like it)
Of course, there are the classics such as:
Black Beauty by Anna Sewell
The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett
A Little Princess by by Frances Hodgson Burnett
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery (another series)

A Wrinkle in Time
Many Waters (I think that's what it's called)
The Wind in the Door
A Swiftly Tilting Planet
all by Madeleine L'Engle (used to be called her "time trilogy" until she added the fourth book, Many Waters, which actually should be read after A Wrinkle and before the other two.)
You might also like the whole Chronicles of Narnia series.

How about trying the books that started it all:
The Hobbit
The Fellowship of the RIng
The Two Towers
THe Return of the King
The Hobbit has dragons, elves, wizards, etc. while the dragons are sadly missing from the The Lord of the Rings trilogy (they died out)

Look into Tamora Pierce. Her books are good and they feature magic and stuff like that. They are relatively and easy read also.
If you read more than that and would like a challenge look into Marion Zimmer Bradley, the Forest House, Preistess of Avalon, The Mists of Avalon, all of those are very very good, and if you've read Paolini, these books should not give you much trouble.

Stephen King actually wrote a fairy tale style book for his daughter (NOT a horror story) called The Eyes of the Dragon. You may like it.

Madeline, if you want a book that can truly come alive and change your life read the Bible. They have versions out now just for teens like you. It's very worthwhile and more than just entertainment. It was life-changing for me as a teen!
God bless you!
