I guess it depends on where to and for what reason. I mean, he can't STOP his wife, but situation depending he can strongly disagree with it. If they're fighting and she just needs to get away I think he has every right to tell her no, so they can work things out, but otherwise I don't think he has that right. He's not a dictator.

No, a husband can not legally stop his wife from traveling.

I go on yearly vacations with my mother. We leave our husbands for 3-4 days and go visit a town or place in the US that we've never been been before. It's a bonding thing. Every year our husbands pout that they don't get to go, but it's for Mom and me only.

No, a husband in this country cannot stop his wife from traveling. However, you need to listen to the reasons he doesn't want you to travel and decide if they are legitimate points of discussion. It could be they are the entry way into discovering and transforming trouble points in the relationship.

i don't think so. me and my kids just took a trip to san antonio (i live in new mexico) without my husband. as much as he didn't want me to go, and he tried to thwart my plans, i still went. nobody can stop you from traveling. the only way that can happen is if he tied you down. but then he would be in trouble for false imprisonment. just don't travel to go cheat on him or something bad like that. me and the kids went to go see my grandmother, she's ill.

No but hopefully the wife respects and takes her husbands opinion and concerns, into consideration. Financially? Maybe.

Depends, if you are going on a business trip then he needs to stop being so controlling but if you are constantyl going on 'fun' trips without your husband you may need ot reevaluate your relationship.

Leagally: no
In real life: if my husband said not to I wouldnt. You also need to understand I have a very healthy relationship and neither one of us would abuse our power. In other words I trust him very much and he would do the same for me
