You could start with your city council, then possibly run for something in your county.

Depending on your age you may be able to run for mayor, city council. Then after a little experience you can run for a county position. But if your young congress is out and so is Governor.

Best bet is to start with local/city council or school board and then state representative. If you are in a small enough town, try mayor

How about the Board of Ed.They are mostly elected.I hope you have a thick skin.It's a dirty game.An honest,well-meaning person is their worst enemy They WILL try to destroy you if it looks like your going somewhere.
