Tropic of Cancer is like one long string of anecdotes, really, and memories, from Henry Miller's time in Paris. A lot of them are sexual, and I guess perverse. Tropic of Capricorn is the sequel, but it's more like a novel than Tropic of Cancer, and is set in New York.
