from your cellphones to your television to your satellite, they all have 1 thing in common that is they run on the spectrum band but in different frequencies...

so i want to know which is the most dangerous that can cause radiation?recently there is a article post on yahoo says that cellphones are safe....

can any one explain what is the cause of radiation from the frequency?example like higher frequency means more dangerous since satellite is using the higher band and is much stronger, so my final question is will any of the frequency in the spectrum band harm us? which of them would harm us more?

Radiation are characterized by their frequency and their energy is

E = h f where f is the frequency , h Planck's constant

Higher is f the more harmful are the rays .

At a enough great frequency Short UV and X-rays the radiation can ionize the matter and in biology destroy cells and provoke cancers

The most dangerous rays are X-rays and UV (ultra violet ) rays which are called ionizing radiations.

This does not mean than others are not dangerous but far less

All of these objects work by utilizing EM radiation to convey signals. All of the energies used in satellite TV and cell phones are low energy radiation probably radio or micro waves. Most of the forms of EM radiation that are dangerous to us are high energy radiation like UV rays, X-rays, and gamma rays, none of which are used in TV's or cell phones.
