You shouldn't throw tampons or pads down a toilet in any city or town? They can block the toilet.Thats why sanitery bins are provided for you to dispose of them.

It is not really your decision to make honey. Each has its usefulness and harms. Pad is safer because it helps the old blood to come out of your body however it is messier but tampons are not good for your body if used frequently and there is a risk of toxic shock when using tampons. I personally use tampons only if i have to (work out or swimming) and use pad for the rest of the times. I find tampons very uncomfortable and painful

Your not suppose to throw tampons or pads in the toilet anywhere they soak up water and clog the toilet.

No it is not advised to through sanitary products down the loo. We have sanitary bins in most toilets in Britain. These are provided for this reason as sanitary products are really hard on the drainage and plumbing systems around Britain. hope this helps
