The wax is most likely stuck in the tube. If you look under neath the sink, you will see where the tube goes down and then curves upward. That "U" shaped piece can be removed with some simple tools. Just place an old towel under it so if any water comes out, the towel will catch it. Then take the "U" shaped piece off, clean out the wax, and put it back on! I hope this helps!

first try some very very hot boiling water do this a couple of times to see if it will melt it and go down then if that dont work i would resort to taking the pipe off and cleaning it that way .
