Yeah, well good for you pal. I'm no Bears fan, but any team that's sitting at 11-2 with the road to the SB running right through their very own cold and miserable back yard shouldn't have to listen to the whining and complaints that the Bears and especially Lovie and Grossman have had to listen to for the past few weeks.

To those constant Chicago whiners, I suppose you'd rather have a hot young Matt Leinart at QB and be sitting at 3-10 for the season, eh? (or how about a "proven" SB winner like Drew Bledsoe, Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson or Kurt Warner - just stop me when you see one that you'd like to trade for...........)

What makes me most disgusted with the worst of the Chicago fans who are whining is that 5 years from now, when the Bears are back at 2-11 as usual, there isn't one of these sorryass sadsacks who won't be willing to sell his own mother to Arab slave traders for just one more moment, basking in the glory of THIS fantastic 11-2, red-hot Chicago Bears season! (along with Rex Grossman, Lovie Smith and the entire Bears organization.....)

(Yah, and I'm with Mr. "Claymore" here! Whatever happened to just yanking your number one for a half or a quarter if he's stinking up the joint? Just even give the guy a rest. Why is it suddenly with so many teams, either "we're going down the toilet together with our number one guy," OR, "headfirst into the industrial wood-chipper" at the first sign of trouble? What is with THAT?)

I believe the Bears should try to hang to Lovie Smith for as long as they can, what he has done with this team could make a story fit to be in a Hollywood movie. But Grossman is not a top caliber quarterback and is not ready for the postseason. I really do hope the Bears go to the Super Bowl this year, they are my favorite NFC team, but let's face it, Grossman in just way too inconsistent, and his decision making skills are a joke. Why does he try to throw the ball 40+ yards every play? He must have started believing all that hype about him being the next Brett Favre. I will say this though, Griese is definetely not answer to this problem. Lovie is doing the right thing. The Bears need to stick out the rest of this season with Grossman. When he's hot he's hot, and at least the Bears are ending the regular season against a bunch of sorry teams. That should help boost his confidence back up right before going into the playoffs. And how about this? Next season, the Bears with their new starting quarterback, Brett Favre? The real one.

It is nice to see that Grossman has believers out there. However, a decent night against the Rams does not mean that he should be shielded from his critics. Smith is taking a big chance by sticking with him. Shanahan took a big chance because his second QB is a rookie not ready to play and he just about called an end to Denver's season. However, Griese is an established QB who has a better arm than Grossman. When Grossman bombs in the playoffs against a good defense, not if, will you still be waving his number? Of course, the Bears are so good they may be able to overcome Grossman's inepitude.

I have absolutely stood by my boy Rex and Lovie through this whole thing.

I even wrote an email to that nasty Tribune reporter Rick Morrissey--who even still continues to be mean towards Rex. He's a jack@$$. I think he only continues his mean streak as an answer back to my email wherein I said that I was certain that he and the rest of the chicago media and fans would be right back on the band wagon after a good showing by Grossman on Monday night.

My recent posts can back me up in the regard that I've stayed faithful.

Haven't been wearing a Grossman jersey though. I've got my own personalized one with my favorite number and my own last name.

I bet we see a lot of liar, fair-weather, band wagon jumping bozos posting that they've been faithful. But we here in chicago heard the boos beginning on sunday and finally being shut the hell up last night.

It somewhat does no longer count number, human beings imagine of that QB is the Bears' purely right challenge yet both quarterback is doomed to fail interior the Bears' offense. Rex Grossman has more effective skills than Orton, yet Orton will likely do more effective acceptable contained in this manner of offense that the Bears use on the instantaneous. in the adventure that they ever were given a sparkling offensive coordinator, Rex will be a celebrity.

I'll be honest, I have thrown things over the way he has played over the past 7-8 weeks, BUT, i also realize that he IS the bears future at
the QB position. That's why I believe he needs to stay in there. To take him out now would only produce more doubt in his mind. on a sidebar, isn't it funny how first the cowboys were the best team in the nfc, now its the saints....just remember, the bears don't play in a dome at home, and it gets real cold on the lakefront in january. the bears aren't too bad at stopping the run, i don't really know if brees or tony homo will be able to pass alot.

Chicago fans need to learn a little patience. There is a reason that this franchise has never, in its long history, developed a quarterback. Grossman needed to learn how to get over this slide and play through it. But there should also be a less catastrophic form of substituting Greise if Grossman falters in a game. It should not be all or nothing.

I've stayed with Rex.

When he starts, they win. What else do you need to know.
