I have a decent job but the mortgage and the bills etc just keep me afloat. I know there are many people out there who are poor and suffering but what about us people that work out butts off all our life only to "scrape through" life all the way!

Honey let it go! Don't worry about things you can't control. You'll just stress the hell out over it! Enjoy your life and just try to be as happy as you can.

The world is so unfair, unfortunately,you are absolutely right and asked a very good question.
It's because of the people's mistake. Nobody's perfect, both the leaders and people on street. Many leaders and rich people are selfish,greedy and abuse their power, they can do whatever they want, they can influence the press, so that they look "clean", even if they are guilty, they can hire the best lawyers. That's the bad part if money can buy anything. Some poor are victim of the greedy and others choose to be poor. The last ones think money can fall from the heaven.Have you ever heard a saying: Wishing doesn't make poor people rich ?
The most important is the leaders, because they are the ones who make important decisions that affect everybody's life.
That's why it crucial that they don't abuse the power. Hitler killed 6 million Jewish, but he was never brought to trial. We have to learn from the history( our own and other people's mistakes), before it is too late. You can do something about it by being not selfish, if you live in a "free" country, others who live in communist countries, such as Cuba,North Korea can't.

In the US part because some presidents get in office and give even bigger tax breaks to the rich which in turn generates less money so someone has to pay like people with millions and billions of dollars really need a tax break

If you live in the United States, get over it. This is a capitalistic country with equal opportunity. Yes, there are some people that are born into money, but there are also a lot that have worked their butts off to get where they are. If you have the attitude that you are a victim and things should be handed to you, you will never get ahead. Take charge of your own life and do what you need to do to get where you want. No one is stopping you.
If you live in another country, than I apologize and things may be different.
