I had a friend who just lost 27 pounds during her pregnancy. She felt fine most of her pregnancy but she kept losing, and losing and losing. Then at about 32 weeks they found out she had gall stones really bad. At 8 weeks post baby she had her gall bladder removed. So I would keep on eye on that. Other than that, maybe you're just lucky!!

I am 26 weeks with my second pregnancy and I have lost almost ten pounds since I got pregnant. The doctors aren't real concerned because my baby seems to be growing but it still doesn't sound right to me either.

This is my second pregnancy and i lost almost 30 pounds with my fist pregnancy but I was so sick the whole time even while I was delivering. I wasn't concerned because they estimated my baby at six to seven pounds but I ended up have a little girl that weighted 8 lb 14oz and was 22 in long.

Your metabolism has increased, it happens to some women. Also loosing 5lbs in your first trimester is not unheard of.

However, it would be best if you try to eat a bit more healthy food. Don't eat fatty foods in an effort to gain weight, but try to eat an extra snack each day, if possible. Like a bagel and a piece of fruit.

It is better to gain than to loose during pregnancy.

However, I ended my pregnancy 10lbs less than I started, after loosing almot 30lbs due to morning sickness and gave birth to a healthy 8lbs baby boy.

Best of luck! Take care of yourself and you will have a healthy baby.

I have had 4 kids and I also lost in the beginning then of course
I gained in the end as the baby grew.
My doctor did get on me about wanting to see more gain, but it was never a serious issue

Most women's weight fluctuates in the first and second trimesters of pregnancy, so you don't have to worry about it too much. Now if you are losing 10-15 lbs, then yes, you may need to see a doctor, so he can put you on a regimented diet.

Congratulations btw!

If your doctor is worried about your weight gain try adding an Ensure Shake a day. They are good for you and help with the calorie intake. I found I wasn't very hungry early in my pregnancy. So adding one of those a day helped
