It is small very itchy pimple looking things between my big toe. They keep coming back and are very uncomfortable. It doesn't fall into the usual symptoms. Has anyone else had this problem?

Athletes foot is another (polite) term for tenuis, aka "ringworm" or "jock itch". And, yes, it is very contagious. The term "athletes foot" comes from the fact that many athletes got the condition from the showers. "Jock itch" is contracted when the underwear (or jock strap) contacts the infected feet on the way to its final destination, thus spreading the disease. A kid with exposed ringworm at school is sent home until it's cleared up.

Your cure is to keep the feet dry, change socks often, and treat with any number of OTC remedies.

What you describe, however, doesn't match what tenuis normally looks like. If the condition doesn't improve with those meds, I'd do to a doctor. Sadly, most general practice doctors are horrible with skin conditions (and I mean HORRIBLE) so I'd ask for a referral to a dermatologist.

Could very well be athletes foot. Its very contageous . so i would make sure you always had some sort of shoe or sock on while in the house and wear those shower shoes when taking a shower.Start putting some kind of medication between your toes.

Athelete's foot is VERY contagious. If you live with people that have it, chances are the symptoms you have is athlete's feet. Try some Lamisil AT (sold over the counter). If that doesn't work, see a doctor.

This may be the start of athletes feet, you don't have the full blown symptoms but it can develop sooner then you think, the best thing is you can treat it now before it gets worse, go to your doctor's, they can prescribe a cream for it.

That is some form of fungus--probably athlete's foot. Super easy to cure-get the cream they sell at the grocery store. It should be near the band aids.
