I really don't understand why so many people hate Hillary Clinton because her husband betrayed her with another woman and she worked it out with him. Furthermore, I don't understand why they hate Bill for doing what so many men including previous presidents and politicians have done, and still do? Why not judge them on their accomplishments and contributions to their country instead of their personal weaknesses & failures? How they run the country is certainly more important than personal indiscretions. Why not check out the facts and judge for yourselves instead of repeating what others who are themselves misinformed are repeating?

Because so many people love to hate.
And I can tell you that as I post a quite naive question a little while ago.
You answered.
I wanted to see if I can explain, so I do.
I have start to say lol & lol to some people meaning the usual thing plus LOT OF LOVE.
I am sad nobody has still found out and some people even where upset...
So beside the fact that people are not so loving than you would like to, jealousy is still a feeling which drives too many people...

I don't know but I think it's unfair to hate someone. More likely, as a human being, I'd disagree with a politician but not hate that person. I really admire Bill Clinton because he was a fine Pres. So what if we got into Kosovo or didn't stop N Korea from getting nuclear power? He did a great job as a Pres. but had the press worry focus on his private life. Hasn't anybody heard about keeping the government out of your bedroom? Anyway, it's fine to read everybody's record but is it fair to judge them just by that? Or are we going to stop a candidate that is a Mormon, Muslim, black, etc. and not vote for that candidate because of what it practices or how it looks? I may not agree with Hillary on many things like when she was for the war in Iraq or other issues but she doesn't seem to be so liberal as others may think. When I have to vote in the primaries, I don't know whether to vote for Hillary, Obama or Edwards.

First of all, your wording is interesting. You make it sound like we should all adore Hilary if we just knew the truth. I would be willing to wager that a lot of people who don't like Hilary know some facts of their own and have made up their own minds.
Why shouldn't we judge them based on their personal weaknesses? We're talking about running the country here, and how someone chooses to handle their personal life says a lot about how they'll handle the stress of the office. If someone is an alcoholic, don't you think that would be relevant for the voters to know? What if a potential President is a wife beater? Or a pedophile? The personal lives of politicians have to come under SOME scrutiny. (I think it's obsessive these days, but the public definitely has the right to know who is leading the country.)
I dislike Hilary because I think she only stuck with Bill because she wants the POWER. I don't think it has much to do with love - she seems to have a lot of ambition and divorce could have been an obstacle on her path to the Presidency.
She really showed her true colors when she insisted on national television that her oh-so-delightful husband was NOT cheating on her - it was all part of a vast right-wing conspiracy. Yeah, right - I suppose the right held a gun to his head when he was doing unspeakable things with a cigar?
The Clinton years were so bogged down with scandals. The outgoing Republicans certainly had their share, but no one was ever accused of murder - the talk about Vince Foster STILL lingers. (No, I don't think the Clinton's killed him, but the allegations ARE still out there.)
People complain all the time about money-grubbing Republicans, but the Clinton's treated the White House as a hotel - I don't think it's appropriate to rent out the Lincoln Bedroom.
Edit: Can you provide a CREDIBLE source about Bush's alleged alcoholism? I would read it if you could - but I want something main stream; CNN, CBS, NBC, ABC, NY or Washingtion Post....anything like that?

Clinton did not accomplish much during his 8 years in the chair.
The Balanced budget that is trotted out time and time again was only on paper and would not come to fruitation in 10 years and only if Congress kept its greedy hands off our tax dollars. Note Congress makes the budget, the President either signs it or sends it back.
Clinton signed NAFTA loosing your job to Mexico and Canada? Look no further than Billy Boy and his acting foolishly with our manufacturing jobs.
HIllary Care, arguable the worst piece of thought process ever to be put to paper. It would cost the tax payers trillions of dollars, while backing up the emergency rooms in every single US hospital. We have enough Illegal Aliens here making a mess of our hospitals, can you imagine having to wait days to get an operation? Screw that!
The Contributions of the Clintons is another thing not to be proud of. They gave Nuclear technology to the N. Koreans, in the hopes they would not develope the bomb, we see how that went eh? They took campaign contributions from just about every single nation on this planet, and called it donations to the Presidential Library 6 years before the thing was even to be scheduled to be built.
I do not want to see another Clinton in the White House period. I wouldn't care if her views were the same as mine or not, the fact that nothing was done the first 8 years of hell, lends me to believe that nothing will be accomplished the next time around.
When will we wake up and finally put someone into Office that has this Country interests at heart rather than what the world might think?

I don't trust Hillary because she has an agenda for everything she does. Please don't be so naive to believe that she stayed and supported Bill out of loyalty. She did it to make herself look like a saint in the eye of the public. Hillary is all about business. She's scandalous. Her plan to dupe America is working exactly as she planned. Does everyone have amnesia? What about the missing, top secret, military documents that mysteriously appeared on the dinning room table while Hillary took a stroll through the White House? They were reportedly missing for six months prior to their miraculous reappearance. Those documents were Top US military weapon secrets! They found their way into the hands of the North Koreans via the Clinton regime. Selling our Top Secret documents to a hostile country is hardly an indiscretion! I think it's called treason! Bush is such a butt head that he probably secured Hillary's political future.

I have the utmost respect and admiration for Bill Clinton. However Hillary strikes me as a cold fish. I do not "hate" her but believe she is driven by a hunger for power rather than a desire to serve the people. Intellectually, she is no Bill Clinton and I believe many people make the mistake of thinking they are one in the same, they most definitely are not. Her reactions and recent behaviors towards Barack Obama are some indication of why people dislike her. Once he became competition she was no longer capable of being cordial towards him which is a shame.

Well my theory is that the more power someone has and he more mistakes they have made gives the people (of an opposite party) the idea that they can reject the other party, and try to convince other people that because of their mistakes their party has flawed views.. etc.

This is funny because I don't really care about her, but one of my friends is EXTREMELY anti-Hillary. I asked him what he didn't like about her and he couldn't come up with even one thing. I think it's just her persona that people don't like.
