Last night I noticed that my belly is very flat all of the sudden right under my belly button. The baby didn’t kick much yesterday and when she did right before bed it felt VERY low. You don’t think I could have dropped already do you? What to Expect said that those could be signs but it’s not suppose to happen until 2-4 weeks before delivery so now of course I’m worried.

Relax. Your baby may have just changed positions. She still has a lot of room to move around in there and may just be hanging out toward the bottom. Don't panic. As long as you are not having any contractions, fluid leakage or spotting/cramping...then you are probably just fine. If you feel that something is really wrong, follow your instincts, otherwise let your doctor know your concerns at your next appointment. You can always call the docs office if you have any concerns...that is what they are there for. Also, keep track of her movements. She is getting a little more cramped, so her movements may be different than those little kicks and flutters..but as long as she IS moving...your are probably just fine.
Good luck and Congratulations!!

The same thing just happened to me around that time (i am 27 weeks now) and i was worried too. My baby usually kicked really high and all of a sudden she was kicking me really low on my bladder but now the kicks are all over the place again, high, low everywhere. I dont think you have anything to worry about, she probably jus tsat herself in a new spot...she can still move all over at this point. I would be alarmed if you start to feel pelvic pressure. But you can always call your dr just to be safe. Best of luck.

The baby probably just moved! I wouldn't worry to much unless you start noticing other "bad" signs. Maybe you just popped out some.

is a forum I think you should visit cause they will have a place where there are other girls due when you are and you can compare symptoms!

Your baby just changed positions. If you start cramping or spotting or have pressure then you need to call your doctor. But the change is most likely just due to your baby changing positions.

Call you doctor immediatly if your baby is still not kicking as much and your concerned. He can put your fears to rest by checking the baby to make sure he/she is ok. good luck. Better to be safe then sorry.
