Your laptop has most definitely *not* a wireless router. It can have however a wireless network card.
If you are able to connect to the internet wirelessly (e.g. through a real WLAN router in your house) then you can use Windows Internet Connection Sharing to connect you PS2 to the net.

You need a so called cross-over cable to connect the ethernet port of the PS2 with the Ethernet port on your laptop.

Set up Internet Connection Sharing on the laptop with the ICS-Wizard.

Then load the Network Access Disc in your PS2 and it should work.

you would need a way to connect the laptop to the playstation, as far as i know there is no wireless inside a PS2. What you can do is get a wired router and run one wire to the network adapter on the PS2 and one to a wireless router for the laptop, although your laptop most likely has an ethernet card so you might as well skip the wireless.

Short answer:
not without a way for the ps2 to recieve a wireless signal.

Theoretically that would work. I don't know any laptop that has a built-in router though. Nor any router small enough to fit into a laptop
