My children. If it weren't for them, I would still be on the path of self destructing. I was wild and out of control and all of that stopped the instant I got pregnant. Looking back at how i was, I can honestly say that they saved my life. There is nothing I wouldn't do to protect them and I strive everyday to be the best mother I can. I refuse to fail as a parent.

I've been living in poverty my entire life. So vacations of any kind were rare, and never outside school. So when I got to go on a road-trip to the Grand Canyon, and stop in Hollywood on the way, I was utterly blown away. Making it there, without parents or a lottery ticket, was my fondest and greatest accomplishment. Oh, in my life, I want to raise a child well, and work for pixar, if only as a janitor.

I am saying my children as well. My daughter is 33 and my son is 29 and they have turned out not only to be productive, responsible adults, they are also, kind, nice people of whom I am extremely proud. Not bad for a man and a woman (me and my husband) who didn't have a clue what to do when we had kids!

My kids... nothing tops that.

Hardest job in the world with the greatest pay off... and least amount of congratulatory praise. Odd isn't it?

Wouldn't trade it in for a million - anythings though.

It would definitely be my children. They may be grown and out in the world (24 and 27) but they are still daddy's girl's.

My son and daughter. Despite my obvious lack of pertinent knowledge, they seem to be maturing well. (teenagers)
