well the risk for miscarriage greatly reduces after the first trimester which is 12 weeks.i always wanted to wait to but my husband has such a big mouth and was calling everyone when i first found out!i feel its best to wait till youre farther along because if something does happen you dont want someone asking about the baby or coming up and rubbing your belly!good luck and congrats!

To be honest with you, there is never not the risk of miscarriage. The risk does go down after about 3 months, but it can still happen later. I recently lost my pregnancy halfway through. everyone had already been told. So I'd tell people after a couple months. but it can happen later, but if it does, you will be able to have support to get you through the loss. hope I helped.

i think you can tell any time, you will always have a risk of losing your baby when not being careful, and if you have never had a miscarriage you wont have a big risk of having a miscarriage,, you should tell people when you are ready... ask your doctor about the risk of miscarriage...

commonly in case you breast feed the infant after delivery, you wont get pregnant, till you supply up breast feeding. only an FYI. Thats mom natures way of protection adverse to being pregnant. commonly interior of two years is secure, and stated for both mom, and infant, to grow to be pregnant back. That way you spaced them best, and also you've given your body sufficient time to heal, plus you gave the infant high quality one-on-one time, and could probable proceed to finish that, even after your next newborn is born.

usually at 12 weeks the risk drops dramatically and it's also the start of the second trimester.

Traditionally 3 months, but unless you're high risk the chances are really really slim and I would just go ahead and tell people. Congrats!

usually between 12 and 14 weeks the chance of M/C drops a lot and this is when a lot of people choose to tell.

However if you tell now and were to have a M/C you would have a lot of support!
