LOL! Try ... "I'm a writer..." I'm writing a novel.

But yes "Aspiring actor" sounds better than "unemployed".

LOL! Try... "I'm taking a break from the modern world to discover the true meaning of life."

Or is it for your resume.. then stick with "Aspiring actor".

OR.. your taking time out from acting to better understand the life of the average american so that I may become an amazing actor :)

OR "I'm in freelance" and just don't mention what your freelancing at! ... If they ever ask... you could just say your multi-talented, you freelance everything :D hehe!

Hey, or... "I'm in Home Decorating Business..." ie. You stay at home and look good. :)

Yes it does because usually if you tell someone your unemployed they think what a lazy couch potato there has to be a job some place for him so if i was u i would say aspirring actor.

Of course it does, anything sounds better than unemployed. You could say that you are between roles, or waiting for a call back. Try these instead of unemployed. I hope that I have been some help to you.

Nothing wrong with being unemployed. Just make sure to not be unemployed for more than 2 years. People get bad impressions afer that.
