I am about to buy a new mac desktop. I just need to know how to move all my songs from my PC to my mac. I have an ipod and by the time i get my mac i wont have my pc anymore. so how do i do it?

Can I just plug my ipod with all my music on it into my mac and will it load right to the mac itunes?

If you have a DVD burner, use File>Backup to Disk and burn your library to DVD. Otherwise, if you have or can get an external harddrive, drag your music to it and back to the Mac. A Mac will read a FAT formatted (Windows) harddrive, but Windows will not read an HFS (Mac) drive. (Meaning format the drive for Windows and it should work).

get an external hard drive and dump everything on it. and then just download on ur mac when u get it. (find one compatible with both PC and Mac)
