I am 8 weeks pregnant and NOTHING is working for my morning sickness. I have it all day long and cant sleep good at night cause I am even waking up at night feeling the need to puke. I did 6 times last night and about 15 times yesterday during the day. I am starving but I can t keep anything down. I havent ate for 2 days and again this morning I am pukin my guts up. I tried ginger, I tried, white soda like sprite, I tried saltines adn peppermint, I tried warm tea. I even tried OTC meds that the doc sudgested like Mylanta and Maalox. Nothing is working and I am miserable. I cant even keep down water. I am worried my baby will get hurt b/c I am not eating and getting dehydrated. Any sudgestions for hard to beat morning sickness?

Call your doctor. I was extremely ill this pregnancy and I called my doctor and they immediately called a prescription in and I had it filled and in my system by that afternoon. They will most likely give you Phenergen (sp?) My doctor gave me Reglan and it really worked, although I work and it gave me the jitters and made me tired so I just had to suffer while at work. I'm 16 weeks and the constant nausea has let up! I haven't thrown up in over a week! lol It'll get better for you:)

I had the same thing with my last Pregnancy and I threw up non stop. I weighted 130 before I was pregnant and 127 when I gave birth. I lost down to 108 because I was so sick. If you start to dehydrate, call your doctor because they might want to put you on iv fluids. They also have some meds that can help, but they will knock you out and that's not an options for me cause I had a 15 month old too. But this time around( 5 weeks pregnant) I feel great, I only feel sick when I get hungry. Anyways, Its might go away after 12 weeks, but mine didn't, I never felt better it was the worst 8 months of my life. I was induced at 37 weeks for high blood pressure. Best of luck to you and your beautiful little baby. Maybe try crackers or ice cubes, 7 up or sprite? Good Luck

I totally undestand where you are coming from.I am almost 30 weeks pregnant and I was so sick until almost 20 weeks.I tried every thing too and nothing helped.
My doctor finally put me of a prescribed medication called Zofran.Maybe talk to your doctor about that.It works within 2 min and is the most amazing stuff.I have not thrown up since taking it.The only downside is that is is very expensive and I still have to pay $15 dollars for only 8 pills and that is after insurance.
If you can afford it though-definanty talk to your Ob about it.

With my first pregnancy, I had it pretty bad as well. This is going to seem really strange. I sucked on lemons. I can't eat lemons unless I am pregnant. I would get a fresh lemon. Cut it into 4 pieces, and eat it. The acid helps settle your stomach. I am pregnant right now. It is still helping me. The other thing that helps me is hot peppers. Not too many though or you will have an upset stomach/ heart burn. Good luck!

keep saltines next to your bed. when you wake up sit up very slowly and try a saltine cracker. don't move until you are feeling ok then walk as slow as you can to where you need to go. take everything slowly. if you keep the cracker down take your vitamin with a small glass of ginger ale. drink it slowly. then go sit outside for a few min breath the fresh air. ( if its too cold for that then maybe sit by a window that is cracked. i forget not everyone lives in florida.) keep it slow as long as you can. don't make any sudden movements. Good luck and congrats mommy

The baby is like a leach at this point and will take from you what it needs regardless of what your able to eat. Drinking is important. It can cause you to get dehydrated and cause preterm labor.
Go to your Dr. and they will probably put you on an IV to get some fluids in your body and they will give you pills that will stop the M/S! Yes its very important that you do this!

I would go back to your Dr. and talk to him a again. I had a Dr. give me a pill to stop the sickness and it worked. I can't remember what it was though. It has been too long ago.

Eat as much of it as you can in small amounts throughout the day.
It is loaded with nutrition, will help to curb heart burn and indigestion, as well as that morning sickness feeling you are getting.
Also, it is natural.
Remember, in small amounts throughout the day.

You need to get to the doctor and get anti-sickness tablets, I had them in my second pregnancy and they worked. The ones I had were called Stemetil. You really need to get these sooner rather than later!
