All jobs should go to the best qualified, period. I careless about a contractors social stigmas, if they can do the job they get the job, but to tell me I have to hire that one over that one because is great great great grandfather was abused is BS. There is not one company out there that is qualified to do the job that Haliburton and Brown-n-Root do, they are massive force that mobilized better than our own military. Now their accounting and billing practices are a whole other story but can be dealt with by Congressional over-site.

Legacy has no longer some thing to do with race. Affirmative action has each thing to do with race. everybody who graduates from a school is a Legacy for his or her children, sure, even the non-white graduates. *

The Clinton Administration ALSO gave MANY contracts (some non-compete) to Halliburton.
