This is a serious, non-assaultive question and I fully expect the Bushies to respond with 2nd grade insults and comments.

I won't give you a 2nd grade insult. Instead I'll simply tell you we don't need to cause it's going just fine. The liberals have their own agenda contrary to ours and we don't want their agendas to be accomplished so as to destroy the country. We also realize by making these public displays of American anti government rhetoric that it demoralizes the country and encourages the enemy.

I'm not a big Bush supporter, but I do have an observation. Reasonable "open & vigilant criticism" has been drowned out by the overwhelming volume of shrill, illogical, overstated, mean-spirited and downright rude vituperation. Instead of an intelligent criticism of the analysis of pre-war intelligence, for instance, we got damned fools screaming "Lies!" on TV. The left cut itself off (I suspect purposefully) from any real criticism and chose the loud, obnoxious, rabble-rousing route. Now they have a couple of years to repair the damage they caused, and perhaps they can repair some of the damage of Bush's miscalculations as well.

I agree. It is not only your right, but responsibility to criticize, policies and legislation that you oppose.

But don't you agree that I have the right and responsibility to return the criticism if I disagree with you. Sometimes criticism is merely criticism for the sake of dissent, because that is what the opposition party is supposed to do. And it goes both ways.

And by the way how is "I fully expect the Bushies to respond with 2nd grade insults and comments." not assaultive. At least insulting.

I totally agree with you and I am a Bush supporter. It's very American to question the government. I do get aggravated though at how all the liberals say he lied about the war when they are the very ones who said the same thing, that Saddam had wmd's and that he needed to be removed. They voted for the war, at least for the most part. The media always gives them a pass on that though.

Because there's too many illegal things Bush did. By having open criticism, there's a possibility that he'll go to jail, making it even more likely that Dems will win the next election.

Nancy Pelosi has said that she will not consider impeachment hearings, but if there happened to be a lot of criticism against Bush, I feel she would change her mind.

Well, I am a Bush supporter and the majority of the stuff I see here is infantile name calling and flat out lies from your side of the aisle. Old saying, remove first the beam that is in your own eye, then you can see to remove the mote in your brothers eye.
