Before you say anything I don't know anything about ports, tunneling, torrents, etc. Please start from the start! I need to know step by step as most internet proxy sites assume some level of knowledge, whereas I know nothing.

It's a high speed unsecured wireless connection through a proxy with all P2P and torrents blocked. I'm using a pretty new desktop with a wireless card separately installed.

No ethics please, I'll be downloading stuff at night when the bandwith isn't being used.

Step by Step:

1. Get FreeCap or Proxifier.
2. 1 or more HTTP or SOCKS proxy servers outside your college network.
3. Set up FreeCap or Proxifier to connect through that proxy server.
4. Voila!

PS: Make sure that proxy server let you connect through port that allowed by your college firewall. Safe bet is it allow port 80.

Well the blocking of p2p and torrents sure has a reason.
If you have a valid reason to want an exception, you should ask your administrator to work something out.

Otherwise: You need to own a pc that is outside of the proxy. If you cannot get a pc from the outside to relay stuff for you, then you're out of luck.
