No, unfortunately, there isn't any other way of finding out the sex of the baby that I know of. Now, some mothers "FEEL" they know what her baby will be. I did. With my first pregnancy, I was constantly told that I was having a girl; however, in my gut, I knew I was having a boy. Low and behold, I had a boy. Don't believe any of the old wive's tales, either. They are fun to read and laugh at, though! Are you scared of having an ultrasound or just can't afford one? Just wondering...

Amniocentesis / Sono
I would not do an Amniocentesis unless there is a need. Also no doctor will just do one to see what the sex is. You might have to have a sono or wait until birth.

I had on at 18 weeks and it was really not that bad. I am 38 weeks now. There is a risk of MC. I have the risk of a T18 baby. We found out 100 % that we were having a girl.

Yes, a scan which is not ultrasound, because that is just listening to the heartbeat. Mind you I would not want to know, I would just lt nature take it's course and be thankful for a baby at all, healthy or otherwise, for this is a gift from God

You are still stuck to this difference of boy and a girl. And just due to people like you today the sex ratio had fallen so badly.
If u finds out that the baby is a girl you will head for and abortion or if u kept big hearty and didnt went for and abortion then you will rmorse like sky had fallen.

But i tell u i wud b delighted when i get a girl as my child but thats very later.......i mean i m not married even yet.

But what does it matter that you want to check the sex of that baby.

Why do u want to do so??

Just once tell me your details means your name and address and i complaint in police against you as it is a crime under the indian law.

Jut let it be the element of surprise and excitement and let the nature do its work. you wil get to know either the bnaby is HE or a SHE when he take birth.

Nothing scientifically, BUT there is this thing called a Chinese Calendar that is supposed to be around 90% accurate in determining what the sex of the baby will be.

A DNA test on the baby or possibly the amniotic fluid could tell...but I wouldn't recommend that because it can cause spontaneous abortion. I kind of view it as an abortion and not a miscarriage, because there's no reason for any needles to be poking around in there!

I think it was so fun to let my second child's gender be a surprise for the delivery room! It added another element of excitement to an already momentous event.

God bless.

Yes I agree with rockandro...
its a gift from the god and one should not bother about it, even if you know now you can not change it as per your wish, so let it be surprise gift, surprise gifts always makes us much more happier than expected gifts so enjoy the life dear and learn to love what you have..............I wish you the best

You can turn to Amniocentesis, but there are side effects to that procedure. If you wanted to just be creative you could look up old wives tales on baby gender prediction. That can be fun but no guarantee.
