Why do British people hate her so much?

Because they they think that Princess Di was perfect. Well apart from at least three affairs while married. Charles only had one affair. That and Camilla has a face like a bulldog chewing wasps.

Some people need to have hate figures. I personally think Camilla is OK, she makes Charles happy and had things been different he should have married her in the first place, she is much more suited to him and always has been. William and Harry have accepted her and genuinely seem to like her and she is not trying to be Diana, she is secure enough about who she is to not need to be some silly girl who had delusions about her own importance.
And while we're all saying ooh bad Camilla broke up a marriage, so did your perfect Diana, she had an affair with Will Carling, the rugby captain, who at the time, was married to Julia, that marriage ended up in divorce, so let's not all throw stones at Camilla without lobbing a few at Diana as well.
I thought Camilla looked very lovely on her wedding day, she is supportive of her husband and doesn't set herself up in competition with him to be most popular. She is in essence what a consort should be and would have been a very good Princess.
And no, I'm not a royalist by any means, but I do get totally fed up with the Di-philes constantly trying to portray her as some redeeming angel when to be fair she had a string of affairs during her marriage

as a British citizen, i would like to say that Camilla has been called the blame for Diana and Charles divorce, she although married to Charles, in the eyes of the British public will never become queen.Diana was the fairy princess, she was loved and adored the world over, she was the peoples princess, no one could ever take her place. many British do actually accept Camilla as Charles wife and wish them both well. The legend of Diana will never die. All who met Diana and even those who didn't felt they had a true friend in her. When Diana tragically passed away, the whole world mourned, each individual felt we had lost a treasured friend. that my friend is why Camilla will never be liked as Diana.

A lot of people are deluded enough to think that Diana was perfect, and Camilla is trying to replace her.
In reality, Diana was no more perfect than anyone else, she was just an expert at manipulating the media.
Most British people don't give the matter any thought, they are too busy getting on with their own lives.
My only complaint about Camilla is that she refused to tour a Christmas Pudding factory, because she had the shits, or something.

Britain is famous (or was) for a sense of fair play.Charles was an adulterer before Diana was.
Nobody likes an adulterer as they are thief's and liars' and in the case of Camilla Parker Bowles a home wrecker.
I did notice she is trying to change her public image with Botox.

People don't hate her. You are several years behind the times. Apart from a die-hard core of Diana fans, most people have accepted that she is alright, seems to make Charles happy and isn't a fruitcake like his first wife was. I'm English (not British) and I've got no issue with her and don't know anyone (even my nan) who has. There's a few people on these message boards who are still at looking at Princess Di through rose-coloured glasses.

because while Diana was alive Camilla was still messing around with Charles, she never really gave Di a chance and all Di wanted was for her husband to love her, of course it was as much Charles's fault but he needed a child and for that he needed Diana. People fell in love with Diana and her wonderful way with people and to accept people for who they were not what hey had. Diana will always be the woman who should have been Queen, she was the Queen of Hearts. Now we all know Charles will never be King, so Camilla will never be Queen, thank God.And Diana taught her boys to be the same way as her so one day Will's will be a wonderful King. God rest Diana's soul, she did a wonderful job while she was here.

Because she broke up the fairy tale marriage of Prince Charles and the lateDiana, Princess of Wales. Diana was very loved the British public as well as others world wide.

People feel she will never be Diana. Which she won't. But I think some people beleive her and Charles were somehow "involved", (if you see where i'm going).
Diana was a open person who supported many charities which gave her world wide respect. She was also a new 'type' of royalty. She was down to earth. Unlike the rest of the Royals.

Where do I begin! I am american and I don't like her either. She is the one person who broke up Princess Diana and Prince Charkles, she was married and decided to go after Prince Charles, Of course he gets the blame also. I personally can't believe she was allowed to marry charles after all the crap she caused in that family. Princess Diana was so beautiful and a great humanitarian, for the world and she has 2 wonderful sons, I could never see what she saw in Prince Charles. Yuk! I guess him and Camilla deserve each other. What an ugly couple!
