Given the NBA's salary cap, they would need to get a player or players whose salary or salaries are about equal to what Iverson is making. That means they would have to get a high paid player in return. IF they took back an overpaid player in the last year of his contract and a decent young player, the Sixers would be lucky. The salary of the pverpaid player would come off the books next year, freeing them up to sign a quality free agent.

It could be for somebody like J-Kidd or Kirk Heinrich. not that many teams who are willing to trade their starting guy away for a player in a new system and the Sixers are not going to take a BS trade either

If I am the Sixers I am going to make whoever takes A.I. also take Webber or no deal. Iverson's a coveted player that teams want so why not use that to your advantage to try and unload a player that you don't want.

They should trade him to Charlotte for Felton... Charlotte has salary cap, draws fans which they REALLY don't have by getting AI, and Philly gets a young, fresh PG in Felton... that would be a good deal.
