You are probably the millionth person to ask this damn question. Look it up next time.
Anyway, it is personal opinion, there really is no winner. Xbox 360 wins in middle range system with nice HD support and Media Center connectivity. PS3 wins in specs alone. Wii wins in innovation and price, plus being able to bring new gamers in the market.
Xbox 360 loses at the beginning: being released probably too early, and having several bugs that should have been worked out from the start. PS3 loses in the price and production shortages, plus for being part of a company that assumes that they will win the console war based on specs and market share alone. Wii loses in that there is barely any HD support (basically a GCN 2.0), no DVD, and not being able to bring in as many hardcore gamers who think the controller is a gimmick.

I think it's a matter of opinion. I haven't really looked at the Wii, the PS3 has games that are geared towards adults, the 360 has games that are geared to children and teenagers. For the most part the technology is the same. Really the only people who are going to notice the difference in techology are those from the age of 18 to 30 who spend too much time playing games. Pretty much you just need to think of what games you want to play and then look at the system's web sites and choose what you like best cause like I said the technology is basicly the same.

Wii- controller will slip out of your hand and possibly break your television or window, costing you the price of another Wii! Also not a next generation console
PS 3 - just developed, expensive, graphics aren't as good as Xbox 360, blue rays are very expensive, good controllers
Xbox 360- superior platform, 1 year ahead of PS3, unfortunately not all original xbox games can play on xbox 360

The X-box has good graphics while the Wii has a neat idea of movment. The PS3 just stinks. The X-box 360 is the best.

No doubt Wii and the Xbox 360 are fun to play but here is what makes a Ps3 standout: Its powerfull chip is more powerfull than computers, having upto 8 cuore processors it a mean machine, right now the games for it use only one processor but in the future it's games will have the best graphics. Also I read somewhere that Ps3 chips are going to be used in a super computer.

haha the 360 is one year older not newer. This makes it one year outdated not more advanced. Do you have even the slightest ideas how computer work? If I buy one today and my friend buys one a year later then my friends is more advanced and has had an extra year to be developed. Also the PS3 has amazing internet us and the rays are costly because they are HD!. If you want hd dvd on the 360 it's an extra $200. you could get blu-ray standard on the PS3. All dvd will be fazed out with blu-ray the same way that vhs and beta have been fazed out.

The xbox 360 is the best because it has had enough time to come out with great titles and more of them. Its price blows the ps3 out of the water. The games on the wii are more goofy games like rayman. Although they are fun if their are alot of people playing with you. Just one game out right now makes the xbox 360 better than any other console. GEARS OF WAR!
Plus the xbox has had more time to come out with cool ad ons to.

depends on what you are looking for, think playstation has killed itsself thought with ps3, it has only been made avalible in the usa and japan. with 600,000 units xbox has been out a year and has far better graphics and the wii is for the family. i feel its the xbox for me ps3 has made the mistake also to go with blue ray just like they did in the 80s with beta-max. will for the family so i will say xbox360 then wii and dump the playsation as its to expensive and way behind the rest.

get the wii60 its both the xbox 360 and the wii. u get both systems for the price of the ps3. so u get a system with good graphics and a system that's interactive and fun for the whole family.
