i dont' know the name of the actors. it is a coloure movie.
it's the story of a king who lives with his only daugther. one day, he became blind because of a snake. his daugther do everything to cure him, but a doctor tell her that the only medicine which can save him is a kind of magic stone which is in the hands of a witch. a competition is organised and a courageous man dashes, for the love of the princesse. he succeed, but the witch cursed him to punish him. he became unreconizable. at his return, he asks for reward to the king the hand of his daughter. but frightned by his apparence, the king refused. the princesse recognize all the same her heroe and married him. some years later they have a son, and it is him who fight the witch and cure his father from the curse. and they live happy etc...
it is an old, old movie but i really would like to find it. it's a present for my mother

It would be helpful if you could give some more information on the movie. You don't remember the hindi title, but unfortunately I can't translate it properly either. It means something like: The survivors of hell. But there's no hindi movie title I know that even comes close to that. Do you know names of actors, director etc. Or the year of release, was it a black and white movie? What was it about anyway? (Not that I have seen many old hindi movies, but who knows someone recognizes it). It doesn't seem to be a classic/popular movie...good luck anyways.

I dont think there was any such film. I asked my parents and grand mother . They say that they've not heard of a story like that in any hindi film.
