If someone has already started the bankruptcy process, can they reposess you cars?

We plan on turning them in after the process, but still need them now. Can they take them or are they protected because you have started the process?

Have you actually filed a bankruptcy and have a case number, if so, they cannot repossess your vehicle without getting permission from the bankruptcy court.

If you are in the process of filing, they can still pick the car up because you do not have the protect of the bankruptcy yet.
