Sorry Friend you are 22 years old and by all means you are completely done with growing. You are not all that short which slightly high heeled shoes wont make up for you. Be what you are and there is no need to be complexed about it. A person is known by his deeds not by how tall he stand. I have helped a lot of youngsters with their stunned growth but all in their teen ages not after it. So push back your shoulders and stand up straight you look cool the way you are. All drugs have side effects.
They can still be used under supervison of a doctor.
5'-6" is not short by any standard.

Increasing the Height

You did say how old you are. But you are under 25 years of age.
In rear cases, you can increase the height up to age 30.
Are you Cycling. This is a good exercise and fun too.
You need to adjust the seat so that when you paddle from seating position you will actually stretch your legs, it is a difficult position but doable. For safety you need to be on track and not in traffic, safety first.
The FEW things I did at least helped me.
Swimming.
Not just playing in water, but serious laps type swimming, do not try to beat the clock but steady full strokes swimming. Remember slow and steady wins the race.
Stretching exercises on floor.
Find them on line.
Chin ups.
Full stretch type.
Swinging from a rope.
Full stretch climbing.
In other words do things that require stanching.

In the morning after good night sleep every one is about 1/2 inch to 1 inch taller. This is because the soft tissue between the bones recovers during the time when there is no weight on them.
Older people loose height due to bone loss. I was 5', 7'' I am only 5', 5".
Issue of Genes:
You know only the active genes but genes can stay dormant for generations.
I believe that every one has some tall height genes, dormant or active; I again believe that certain exercises can activate those.
Again Swimming:
You will start out with half a lap and build up day by day, half a lap at a time. Then you will swim non stop for 1/2 an hour.
The speed is not important but you must use various strokes and do them correctly, completely, slowly and perfectly. This way you will have full stretch, and its benefit.

It depends on the genes you have inherited. If your parents or grand parents are taller, you'll grow to be one. 5 feet 6" is decent. Since you are only 22 wait for a few more years. You might add an inch or two. Dont waste your money on medicines.

Acceptance of ones self is not always easy if you feel that you are inferior in some way - you feel that your stature is a hinderance to you - but why? Its the personality, the caring, the man/woman inside the body that counts - not their height (and 5'6" is not short to me I'm 5'2"). Heck I always get kidded that if it floods I drown first but then I come back with.......... if it rains I can use them as an umbrella hehehe......... so is all in how you look at things and how we look at ourselves isn't it.

Sounds like you are out of luck, there is a little thing called genetics that has already decided your height for you.
The only drastic thing you could do is to have surgery. Basically, they break your legs and lengthen them with nuts and bolts. However, this is for extremely short people and like a said, very drastic...not for cosmetic purposes.
My advice is to get some confidence, excercise, and keep your head up! Find a cute girl who is 5'5" and you'll feel just fine!

Don't take such medicines for just gaining height. Such medicines are dangerous and WILL affect your fertility. You are only 22 years old and you have a life ahead of you. Why would you take harmful medicines, my friend?
I HIGHLY suggest you play basketball. Save money and buy a good basketball w/ basket. Put it somewhere outside you house and start making the hoops! Just play.
I guarantee that in one year you will send me an e-mail thanking me.

Dont you know what they say, Small is beautiful and all good things come in small packages. Dont feel inferior, you are you and I bet that yoy have a lot of love to give, maybe you are small but your heart will be massive. Accept yourself as you are, grow to like yourself and once you do that, it will show and others will flock towards you I guarantee this

First of all accept this universal truth: Physical outlook may be impressive but temporary. The real one is the character, intelligence, witticism etc.
And Gandhi, Churchill, Napoleon were short in height but the changed the course of history and still taught in classes.

u should jump rope daily for one or half an hour take good diet go to Jim daily take consultation from doctor or u may try any Ayurveda medicine as they have not any side effects and when sleep then u should place Ur hands up and strait it will show u results in just 2to3 months.
