BRAIN WASHING BY THE INTERESTED PARTIES.

In my particular experience, my political views were formed by listening to my very political parents - my Mom is a liberal democrat and my Dad is a conservative republican, so you can imagine how interesting our dinner conversation was (and still is when we visit them).

Also, my political views were formed by our participation on campaigns (mayoral, senatorial and congressional), as well as by what I read and learned both in school and in the newspaper, and from conversations and books that my parents had at home.

We always talked about politics, a tradition that my husband and I continue with our kindergartner to this day.

That has taught me to discern what makes sense to me, as well as to have an open mind and tolerance for people with different views.

Well I am part of the working class, making about 35k a year at the moment while I work on my own small business. I tired of working for other people that could at anytime close the plant, or just lay me off. Screw that i will do it myself.

I am also a Conservative, I believe that the government has no rights to the money I make, and I do not want a dime of it going to someone that is lazy and perfers to rely on the Government for assistance.

I formed this view by realising that one day I want to be rich, and I need to make sure that the people that run this country will not tax me to death because I am ambitious and want to make as much money as possible.

You have choices to make in life, nothing is free and everything costs something. It is a just a matter of how much you want to pay to succeed in this life. Relying on a Government agency to do it will not help you one bit.

Take the war on Poverty for example, there are as many poor people today as there was 40 years ago (same percentage) meaning we have done nothing to alleviate that trillions of dollars of taxes blown on people that just do not have it in them to do anything worthwhile with their lives save make babies and expect me to pay for it.

The complete and utter lack of political values other than what the main stream media has to say is what a huge number of young adults and teenagers use for their political foundation.

I was talking to a twenty year old police academy cadet the other day about the war, and when I brought up the subject of insurgents she asked me what that word meant. I kid you not.

It's disgusting how apathetic people are now a days.

People usually form their political views to match their own personal views in life.

For instance, if you are among the working class, then you would want to find the political party that helps the working class, which would be the Democrats.

If you are a billionaire and obssessed with begging for welfare (in the form of huge tax cute) you would vote Republican.

Well, some views come from your upbringing, values your parents gave you, your own life experiences. In the case of democrats they brainwash you, make you feel sorry for the tragedy of the week, as long as they are a minority.

Political views are formed through misinformation, lies, coercion, correction and finally capitulation.

l think it is a combination of environment, upbringing, and general experience, not to mention the influence of media whether or not you buy into it.
