If you've got windows XP and the error message was something like, the program cannot be installed because your computer doesn't meet the requirements, it's a bug (a kind technician from BT told me this when it happened to my PC-I have the voyager 100). All you have to do is install the program by a different route:
1. Put the modem drivers CD into your CD Rom drive.
2. When the CD starts playing, skip it (click something like exit, the escape button or hold the ctrl, alt and delete buttons togther and when task manager comes up, highlight the BT modem drive program and click on end at the bottom).
3. Go to my computer and right click on your CD Rom drive (uit's the D Drive on my computer). you should get a grey box saying things like play, open explore etc. Left click on either explore/open (it doesn't matter which as long as you do it once).
4. double click on the BT voyager program (it ends in .exe)-i.e. I think it's a blue file saying voyager. If not, the file you want should look like a computer and end in .exe). Your computer should now install the program for you. Look for something like green arrows at the bottom of the screen.
5. If the error message comes up again, just click exit set up and yes if the computer says are you sure.
This should work, but if not, the BT Broadband Technical support helpline is:
0845 600 7030
Hope this helps!
Good luck!

i used the bt voyager 205 before the home hub so i will try to help you
first if you are using the ethernet connection method(recommended),you dont have to install any drivers or software, this is only needed when you are connecting by u.s.b
but if you want to use usb,you need to install the drivers, try disabling your security software such as anti-virus while you are installing the bt software
you should of received a ethernet cable with your welcome pack box with the modem, this is the easiest way, just plug the one end into your voyager 205 and the other end into the network card socket, this is normally located either next to your usb sockets at the back of your p.c or one of your pci slots lower down
ethernet is also faster than usb, ethernet has a connection speed of 120mbits were as u.s.b is 56mbits
give it a go and let me know
good luck
