How does the wein bridge oscillator work? What it is function in the circuit? And any Pros or Cons?

Here's a pretty good app note. You'll find a good description of the Wein Bridge inside of it. It's a basic sine wave oscillator. The pros are that it's cheap and easy to get working. The cons are that it's pretty much low frequency, usually has some distortion and the frequency is determined by discrete components and it subject to their tolerance and drift
