Hi there. I'm in Orlando and have visited Sea World during the winter months. Our winters are really mild here, so the animals will definitely be out and about (although some are kept in climate controlled enclosures).

The best part about visiting our theme parks in the winter time is the weather. No 90 degree + humidity weather slowing you down while you walk all over the place.

Universal Studios always has long lines, but you should be ok waiting. If the wait is unbearable and you have cash to spare, they sell something called Universal Express to bypass regular lines. You are automatically bumped up to special Express lanes. Still a wait, but much less. (Universal Express is free if you stay in one of their resorts).

Definitely visit Islands of Adventure when you are there! Hope this helped! Have a blast!

sea world the animals are out all year long. but during that time of year all parks sea world Disney universal will be jam packed with visitors look into fast passes a good key for anyone is arrive an hr after the park opens each park has its own parking an you have to pay its at times 1 hr before you can get threw and then u have to hold off at the turn styles to get in if the park opens at 10 get there at 11 or 12 then if you eat well before you go you don't have to worry about lunch and at that time alot of people will be eating there lunch which means shorter lines

The animals are out even this time. Universal wasn't that bad. I was just at the Islands of Adventure. The Incredible Hulk was like 10 minutes at most. Dueling Dragons was 15, and the reason is because they were only running 1 train on each side. Jurassic Park, Storm, and Dudley were walk on. Spiderman was like 5 minutes early in the day, and then went up to about 20 minutes.

The park wasn't that packed. My parents went to the other Studios, and they said the Mummy was 30 minutes, and E.T. was 20. All the other stuff was lower than that. It wasn't that packed. This was a Friday afternoon.

As for Disney, it wasn't that bad. Dinosaur was like 26 minutes, and then it got to about 10 minutes later on until there wasn't many people. Space Mountain seemed to be consistently at 20 minutes until the weekend of Sunday. Snow White was 7 minutes, maybe.

Tower of Terror at night had to be at most 12 minutes. Of course, the shows are never long. Star Tours was basically walk-on if it wasn't for the movie before. It's Tough to Be a Bug was maybe 10 minutes which seems long. I went on Thursday, Friday, Sunday, and Monday. Saturday was probably the worst day. So, I said let's go somewhere else!

Now, on Sunday, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad was quite long and I believe this was because of them taking a train off the ride. It had to be 40 minutes or so. That was the longest line I have waited last week. So, there you have it. It was crowded, but it wasn't overly crowded to go on the rides, and wait in suffering as you might say. Space Mountain is 2 roller coasters, Big Thunder has 3-4 trains running, Splash Mountain probably has 12 boats, Snow White probably 8 cars, and so on.

They have a lot of capacity on these rides. Each Dinosaur car holds 16 people, and they probably have 10 cars at least. That's 160 people. It's a guess. Tower of Terror has 2 shafts in which you drop up and down.

We went 3 yrs ago the week between Christmas and New Years Day and it was nice. We had to go buy sleeveless shirts! yes the animals will be out. We also, went to Disney World and there were lines but they also said that that was the busiest they had been since 9/11.

I am sorry to say that at that time of the year ALL Orlando parks are terribly crowded. If you do not mind the crowds or the long lines, then it is great. The places are beautifully decorated!!
