no joking, but I'm sure I remember the sensation of being born! It was pretty unclear, but the desire to not leave where I was, was terrible! Other than that, I remember being on the beach at scarborough looking at my parents and my sister not being there, she was born a few months later when I was only a year old.
Some people remember loads from their childhood, some little or none. In my case it was a very happy and wonderful childhood and so I believe its a good reason to remember so much. I've asked this question before to other people and some unhappy ex-children seem to forget (or want to forget) their early experiences.

I remember some things from when I lived in Nottingham for a year when I was about 3.

We lived at the end of a no-through road next to which was an abbatoir. I remember some men wrestling a pig that had escaped before another bloke came and shot it in the middle of the street.

I also remember Dennis the dustman. Dennis was his name because it was written on the front of his dustcart.

I remember going to the circus with my aunt when I was about 2.5 yrs old. The next memory is from when I was 6 and started 1st grade. I remember a lot of that year. Then I can only remember bits and pieces of the rest of my childhood.

I remember being 3 years old and trying to reach the candy that was in the highest cupboard above the stove. I pulled a chair to the stove, then climbed up on top of the stove and was on my tip-toes trying to reach the door of the cupboard.

When my dad came in the kitchen I had managed (with the help of a wooden spoon and my 2 year old brother) to get a bag of candy down and I was tossing pieces of it to the floor where my brother was gathering it for us to eat; presumably when I climbed back down!

I got my butt spanked, I was told I could have killed myself if I had fallen, the candy was taken away and I had to sit in the corner for what seemed like an eternity but was probably only 5 or 6 minutes.

My dad also told me I could have burned my feet or my legs or my hands or even my hair! And he turned on a burner while he held me and he showed me how it got red hot and then he placed both of our hands near the burner so I could feel the heat he was describing. I remember being really frightened after that because we were always warned about the stove being "hot" but I never fully understood what they meant until he showed me.

It was not cruel or anything, I was not in danger, he was just showing me that it got hot. I hardly had to feel the warmth before I started crying.

I remember thinking my hair was gonna burn off!

dad says i wasn't even one then- 11 months- but i do remember it- i was trying to ope then the door to refill my bottle of milk because dad was too busy watching tv- mum was in hospital with her sister giving birth to my brother so this was a reason why it happened... that i tried to get put of the room with an iad of a dustbim to reach the handle- but i fell in it- i remember because my arm was hurt bretty bad by the bin lid. Dad thought he may have mentioned it but on recollection he didn't want to tell anyone how careless he'd been. So that's my earliest memory i'd say

I was three years old. It was summer and my family was over. My cousins were there, 5 and 7 and we were playing the pool. Well my grandma had just bought me a fisher price cassette player with microphone. I was told not to take it near the pool or it would fall it and get ruined. But sure enough being 3 I took it to the pool, but sure enough I dropped it into the water and it going ruined. My mom came over to see what happened and it was just me and my 5 year old cousin and I told my mom that she had did it. I have no idea what my cousin said, but my mom blamed her and she got in trouble for it. I never got in trouble, when I clearly remember doing it. A few years ago my mom and I were talking about something and that topic came up and I came clean about the incident. She laughed, she remember it happening and she swore my cousin did it, but was surprised that I was able to remember doing it.

I had to be about 3 years old and was wearing a dress swinging around an outside lamp pole (that my dad had planted a cactus around). Well, I fell into the cactus (the ones that have the little needles all over them) and had to be taken to the Children's hospital and I remeber them pulling the stickers out. Very painful.

being an angel in my playgroup nativity, must have been abt 2/3. remember i wasn't allowed to open my eyes and had to sit with my hands up as if i was`praying. got bored after about 30 seconds and spent the whole time trying to peek out at what was going on without the playgroup leaders noticing. was petrified of being told off if caught with my eyes open, remember feeling so brave - my 1st successful act as a rebel!

I can remember back to preschool so I was about either 3 or 4 or maybe 2 years. I remember some little snot nose boy closed my hand in the door. I remember liking this other little boy name Grant because he had pretty eyes but we ended up in the same elementary school and I hated him.

I think I was between 2 and 3. We went to hospital to visit my dying Grandpa. I don't remember him that well, but I do remember causing havoc by pulling on the weights that another man had holding his legs up. It was fun watching them go up and down!

Then there was a Myna bird at Edinburgh Zoo about the same time. Apparently I spent an hour watching it. It was fun too. He said, "show us your nickers".
