I am. I am the tree that falls in the forest and makes a sound that nobody hears because nobody listens. They are sheep who only listen to self-appointed shepherds, who will fleece them and turn them into lamb chops.

OK, First, everyone has a voice. Everyone who is a citizen has a vote, and it is up to them to use it.

Second, everyone can contact their elected representatives, write to them, visit their district offices, and make their opinions known.

Anyone who is "disgruntled" is not trying hard enough to make themselves heard. The other thing is this - in America, majority rules. Granted, your elected representatives all represent "you" but they are bound to vote with the wishes of the majority of their constituents.

To make your voice heard more loudly, find a special interest group that represents your ideas and join. The more voices you have joining together, the louder it becomes and the easier it is for "them" to hear you.
