You know your question just jumped out at me when I saw Joshua Tree! I have to say, I have not been there in almost ten years. But a group of friends and I used to go camping and hiking there a couple of times a year. And what is so interesting to me, is that you mention marrying there! The main reason we all loved Joshua Tree so much, is because there is something very spiritual about the place, you just feel it. I'm sure not everyone senses this but I certainly did. And in the right spot, and at the right time of day or evening, I think it could be a very special place to marry. I'm glad I came upon your question! (For those who don't know Joshua Tree is a National Park in the California desert, and it is beautiful there.)

I think that would extremely meaningful and really COOL! You could play some of U2's "Joshua Tree" CD in the back ground while waiting for the ceremony to start. Or not. Still, really unique idea.

I grew up in the desert, and Joshua trees would make a beautiful back drop at sunset for a wedding, but after dark beware, those things start coming alive. Very Spooooky !!!!!!!!!!!!!

it is a nice tree but it is not a symbol of love , so it will not get married around it
