I am an undergraduate at UNI and I'm confused as which major to take, Accounting or Economics...I don't want both just one.

In terms of employment and salary and ease which is better???

Econ or finance - my university offers an Eco-Fi major and it's the best major as far as increasing the number of opportunities and base salary.

Can you get a minor? Try combining econ and fi on your own.

For a job on wall street, I`d have to say Economics, but how about Finance? It might be the way to go.

Definitely Finance if that's available. If you're at some fancy school that doesn't offer mere "business" degrees, then Econ. I majored in Econ, and would've liked to get into investment analysis, but jobs leading to that seem to favor Finance (plus MBA).

Economics or finance is the bets way to go, as the person said above. Accounting is mostly bookkeeping.
