Is equal opps the same as equal opportunities. ie equal opportunity employers wont discriminate? (I ask because some of the previous answers seem to indicate that it is a school subject) If so then religion already is included in equal opps and deffinately should remain so.

No way.

Besides equal opportunities isn't really equal is it. It's more like forcing companies to employ certain people. It would be much better if business just got on with hiring the best person for the job no matter who they are or what they look like, end of story.

Yes of course it should, many people live their life according to a religion, which gives them values and beliefs. its part of a persons character and personality i think. and if it were to not be part of equal opportunities then it would totally be contradicting because its many peoples values and beliefs.
