Stickers? Please!!! After playing bass in bands for 15 years full time and seeing literally hundreds and hundreds of guitars, the best looking ones are the ones that are good looking right out of the factory. Nice finish, nice contours, nice binding on the body or neck. Don't junk it up by adding things, 'cause it'll look like your little brother was making a project for 'show 'n tell' at Kinder Care!
If you want to really impress someone with your guitar, learn to play it well!

accessorize the knobs, whammy bar, different pick guards. im not big on the sticker thing, think its a bit tacky and makes the guitar look cheap. but you can get small bits and pieces from the music store like different style aftermarket knobs, maybe a whammy bar or a different one, im sure you can find a cool pick guard on the internet if not at the store, there's all kinds of stuff you can buy.

Put some band stickers on it. Make it look like a PuNk guitar. Or you can just 'splatter' paint on it!!!!!!

i definitly agree with the add stickers comment, maybe go with a theme...my boyfriend has one guitar that has all horror movie stickers and magazine clippings glued on and another with all old school pin-up girls...good luck!

Woodburned symbols, lyrics, sentiments, designs, etc...
We bought each of our kids guitars for Christmas one year and burned symbols of their favorite animals onto them. We also added quotes here and there. They LOVED THEM.
