How would those who paid the highest price for our country's freedom feel about America's reasons for war today? Is it about freedom and liberty? Or is it about oil and greed?

Its always been about greed. European settlers came here and helped the british steal the land from the people who lived here. Then once the colonies were established they turned around and stole this land back from the british. Then they used free slave labor to cultivate the land and to build the governement buildings.

So even though this is a terrible war, its not like the greed started with this generation of leaders. What we see today is a result of what our founding leaders started.

If this is about Iraq...I'd say today's situation is worse than before the war. If the yanks were afraid of anything before the war, wait and see what happens when they leave the place and give that lot a chance to reorganize, then there will be a REAL reason to fear anything.
I am very sorry for all people who lost their lives over this, it was not worth it and the further the yanks delay understanding this the more difficult it'll be to come out of the hole. The way I see it therefore is yanks against yanks. Of course people won't agree with me but the more time passes and the more trillion $$ get spent and the more carnage happens the more people do agree.
Now the brits are talking about buying more nuclear war heads so we have regressed to pre disarmament times. That's humanity.

Generally most of the people who have actually fought in Iraq feel that we are doing the right thing.

23 million Iraqis have voted that they want freedom and a better life. Some groups of thugs and terrorists want to place themselves as dictators.

Which side do you think we should support?

well, i feel that we did a good thing when we went into iraq and freed all of those people who where under Saddam Hussein, i mean they were living a terrible life, and we helped them out a lot. When it comes to the oil issue, we need oil, to drive and to heat stuff up but I don;t think we should be killing people over it.
