No, but politicians are to involved in the Supreme Court.

Yes but it will always be involved in politics if politics are contrary to the constitution. I may not agree with most of the Supreme Court's decisions on social issues but the second they stop being involved in politics will be a scary day. As poorly as they protect the constitution they seem to be the only branch of government that feels obligated to stay within the constitution even if that is only selectively.

You cannot be that naive. In today's world ,everything that has to do with anything involves some form of politics. For example, whether you get the job you apply for, whether you get into med. school, whether you get accepted into a country club, etc.
