Disadvantages would be:

- Spread of disease - people from other places being exposed to bugs they're not used to, and introducing bugs that Kenyans aren't used to

- With people travelling come 'hitchhikers' in the forms of bugs, rodents, etc., non-native plants, which can take over native life, such as what happened in Australia with a number of animals, insects, and plant life that was introduced by accident.

Tourism is the major economic activity in Kenya. Unless you don't like the animal wildlife, the objective would be political, which the Kenyans object to foreign investments which is emphasized on tourism with spending coming from outsiders. The government is corrupt, it is hot and humid year round, the people are not required to attend school by law, which means they are extremely poor.

the disadvantages of tourism in kenya is that kenya has become way too commercial if you are willing to come out to africa on an exploration,you should rather try other countries like zambia, botswana, tanzania for a real adventure.
