I have read some of it. He seemed to me to have driven himself mad with the remorselessness of his thought processes.

I haven't had the patience to read the whole thing, but from a cursory examination it seemed to me that it was a document produced by a highly intelligent person who was utterly lacking empathy. There are many kernels of truth within, but the whole thing is strangely skewed.
I think the world is probably lucky that he chose the path of bombing rather than politics, because had he taken the latter path he might have caused a lot more harm than the deaths of three people.

I have not read it but one very good thing came from the unibombers manifesto. It got him caught.
The police printed sections in the newspapers and his brother recognised the rantings as similar to ideas that his recluse brother had ranted years before and gave his name to the FBI as a suspect and he was arrested soon afterwards .
He was found with his bomb making arsenal in his shack with him. Unfortunately by this time he had killed 3 people and maimed several more.

For the last few decades, Republicans have used the word 'liberal' for anyone they disagree with or any idea they don't like. Hitler was a liberal and so was Stalin. Terrorists are liberal and liberals are terrorists. In fact they've misused the L-word so much that it's lost its meaning. Now they're ramping up the rhetoric, calling Obama names like 'socialist' and 'marxist'. The idea all along was to marginalize liberals. When an idea or statement is discussed on right-wing media, if the host doesn't like it, he labels the source a 'liberal', meaning that he isn't entitled to an opinion so why would you listen to him?

Haven't read it.
He's a kook.
If he raises any valid points, let someone who is not a serial killer make them instead.
