All of Asia have ancient dragon symbolisms, often connected to volcanos, mountains and water. Lore implies that these sacred beings rule fire , water and the weather.

In China, the stories connect the dragons to the ancient emperors who have shaped earth.Since the first legendary rulers, the Emperors of China have taken the dragon as the central image in an elaborate set of images that symbolize the emperor’s authority. The great and beneficial power of the dragon could be brought to the people through the good rule of the emperor who was considered to be the intermediary between heaven and earth, a “Son of Heaven.”
The emperor’s most honored title was “the True Dragon” and the adjective dragon was used in the names of all that had to do with his life and office. His throne was the “dragon’s seat” his hands the “dragon’s claws, the pen he used was the “dragon’s brush, the imperial look was known as the “dragons’ eyes, “ and the imperial robes called “dragon’ garments.” So important was this supernatural beast that it come to represent China itself, appearing on the coins of the realm as well as the national flag.
Although the wearing of dragon robes declined with the fall of the Qing dynasty in 1911. The symbolism of the dragon still survives

Many people are questioning this since dragon is actually a symbol of evil, its not China's national symbol, in the ancient times, it can ONLY be used by the emperor as a sign of power and his throne. But yeah, many chinese take it as a national symbol because they think the image of dragon was first used in China, but its not proved. As far as I know, there arent nine dragons, but the legend says that dragon has nine sons, I dont know the origin of this but all those sons arent really dragons. They share characterastics, 1.carrying heavy burdens 2.fond of looking around 3. gluttony, 4.violent, 5. hater of crime 6.fond of incense,7.fond of water 8.the tame one 9. the howling one ( also the one that likes music)

In china there was a belief that there was a beneficent animal that brings festivity, happiness, and blessings. I think the fire breathing ones were included but im not too sure. They came from crocodiles. In the shang dynasty there was an engraving that showed that dragons may have come from crocodiles!

My wager is Australia... at the same time as the lists of organic wonders decision, the in problem-free words u . s . that seems to have a minimum of two (wonderS) is Australia, with Ayers Rock and the entire Barrier Reef. (The U.S. does too, yet which will be a lame decision). the subsequent area is a stretch, yet easily one of their nationwide symbols is the opal, which has some unusual refractive houses, making different opals have thoroughly different colorings, or maybe one opal have different colorings at the same time as seen lower than different basic, or by different human beings... therefore what you spot once you seem at an opal can't unavoidably be considered by somebody else, so on your EYES in problem-free words. only a idea, yet it truly is my 2 cents.
