Merry Meet,
I am a witch, but I have to say that the Craft is a way of life, not something that one toys with lightly.
Most of us who have practiced this way of life for awhile will tell you that spells on the internet are not the way to go. It's about your intent, and always best if you create them yourself.
My suggestion is to study up on witchcraft itself first and then decide if this way of life is right for you.

I'll post some websites with information for you to investigate.
Please don't let the negative comments get to you. It seems to be prevalent here, that the beliefs of pagans, witches, atheists, deists, and any non-christian belief or practice is a target for the uninformed.

May you blessed on your journey through life.

Try some of these websites. I'm a member and they have been very helpfull over the years. But remember, being a witch is not all about spells.

Here is the only spell site I reccomend. The truth is that most spells online are not real ones, just made up. http://www.angelblueessential.com/

The best place to get spells are from these books

The Element Encyclopedia of 5000 Spells: The Ultimate Reference Book for the Magical Arts
by Judika Illes

The Good Spell Book: Love Charms, Magical Cures, and Other Practical Sorcery
by Gillian Kemp

A Witches' Bible: The Complete Witches Handbook

I hope these help you. Blessed Be.

Lets see. Spells can work, controlled environments are difficult to work in, and love spells are black magic. That said people have different capacities and leanings, what works for one person, often does not work for others. Where one person can levitate matter, other people just make chicken soup that can cure colds. Magic takes lots of forms as every witch is different. People who are witches think their spells work. Usually because they feel some basis to believe in. It's usually no more dangerous then prayer, and in some cases ritual sacrifice, which is generally protected by the US constitution, though can be amended for public health reasons.

Look, there is no such thing as a "bunk" spell, a true witch doesn't need some magical words in a barbarous tongue to work magick, a true witch can make changes simply by willing them. The wording of your question also opens up you and any witch who responds to ridicule. I realize you are ignorant of the subject and most likely very young. Here is my advice, use that computer of yours to research the subject on the internet.Look up the terms of your question on yahoo search or google. Then, come back and ask a witch about any other questions you have, also try public libraries as they also contain many books on the subject in their "religious" category, failing that, find a local bookstore that contains a "new age" section and read books that strike your fancy, Konstantinos is a good author, also Ann Moura, for books on Wicca I suggest Raymond Buckland.

Your power is not in potions and wands or even spells. This is a wounded way of false power. the strongest power is when you connect totally in unconditional love with Mother Earth and the One true Source from within. Then all is at you finger tips. By giving your power away to the fore mentioned you slowly die. It is like smoking" ah this one won't hurt me" eventually you die of lung cancer.Been there done that. Seek The Truth. It is within by seeking out your guides and helpers. you attain that which is the Truth. I know there is glamour and the illusion of power but that is what it is , an illusion. when you do something, anything to anyone you are taking away their freewill to choose. This is in direct contravention of Universal law. The karma "police" will as sure as you are reading this come and kick your *ss so hard you will wish you had never done a spell ever in your life.Because what goes out comes back 10 fold. If that person does not need, want your assistance you affect your life path and reap the consequences for a very long time. This is not something you want to dabble in because you are feeling power less from childhood wounding. Heal yourself by loving you. Unconditional love is the most powerfull magic there is in all of Creation. In fact it is the Magic of CREATION. Focus with intent with impeccable integrity. This is true magic. this is connecting to Source and Mother Earth. May I suggest reading Carolyne Myss all of her books are excellent and are a begining to you finding and using your trye power. I most enjoy " The 7 Archytypes". Peace to you and may you seek that which awaits you. The Truth.

It's strange how witches did what they did hundreds of years ago. My great-great grandma was a witch and when she slept the candle would go into her mouth when she breathed in and it would go back to it's original position when she breathed out. I think I kind of inherited a little bit of supernatural from her cause I have phenomenal experiences from time to time. But I do not believe in doing witchcraft so I just leave it be and I try not to ignite it into something I wouldn't feel comfortable with. My people were shamans and witches before the Christians came to convert us in the late 1800's. Now I am a open-minded Christian and I choose not to go into the ways of my ancestors.

If you want a book of spells Patrica Telesco has several out one of which is called "spinning spells & weaving wonders" but it is highly unlikely that you will have any measure of success.

That is not because the spells are bad or "fake" It is because successful magic & spellwork takes knowledge & practice. It is not like following a recipie, one persons spell may not work for another person. There are many reasons for this; it could be that someone may be more adept at raising & directing energy, or some of the material components of the spell may have different symbolism or meaning to a another person, the timing may not be astrologically correct for the spell work at hand etc, etc.

In order to do successful spell work, you have to master a few basic techniques, like grounding & centering learn about it here... http://www.robinwood.com/livingtreegrove...

Next you need to have a working knowledge of the witches’ pyramid & how it works learn about it here

http://www.angelfire.com/realm2/amethyst...

Next you need to understand and practice energy raising & direction there are several methods in which this can be accomplished, through chanting, drumming, ecstatic dancing etc... Spells do not work if they are not empowered by your energy.

next you need to understand the elements of ritual construction, spell work is done in sacred space, if you don’t know how to make sacred space you should not attempt spell work

Next you have to understand all of the ethical considerations in performing magic, and decide on the paradigm in which you will be working... for example wiccan ethics include a "harm none” clause in their spell work. Not all paths include this caveat, but be aware just because you are not wiccan and don't "follow the rede" that there won't be consequences for your actions. Anyone with a working knowledge of magic & how it works understands the "ripple effect" or reciprocity.

Then you need to learn about planetary hours, moon phases, timing on the wheel of the year, correspondences of herbs, stones, candles, colors, poppets, runes, sigils, tarot cards, or whatever "props" you wish to include in your spell work.

once you have these techniques/concepts down, you will be likely to have marginal sucess in you magical endevours

Don’t forget to journal your lessons, and attempts, so that you can learn from your mistakes

Best of luck seeker

Try looking for a metaphysical store near you. They had one at a mall near me, but I guess when people became aware of what they did or sold, they were forced to close. I used to go there alot, I loved the crystals and enjoyed looking at different things, no I am not a witch but I thought there were many beautiful things there. So, see if you can find something nearby, or try metaphysics.com, I haven't tried it, but I am sure something will come up. Hope this helps you alittle. Have a good one!

Merry Meet,

I would like to say that you can't just wake up one day and decide you are going to be a witch. You have to educate yourself. Magick is something not to be taken lightly. You have to understand that there are good and some very bad things about working magick. I listed two links that are informative and free. I hope these help you on your journey.
