I would say, definitely 'Crash'. The story has such depth to them it was amazing. I ended up shedding a tear (maybe two...) at the scene where the arabian fired a gun at a girl. Just this rush of emotion you can't contain. The story line was impecably sculptured, the moral behind the story was great, and it gave you a look at some of society's biggest issue, that coming from me, a 21 year old male whose favourite movie used to be Boogie's Night!!!

Well these 3 made me think: Mean Creek, American beauty and American Splendor (that one was funny though...)
But the one that made a difference was Fight Club, awesome movie! and you can learn a lot of what goes in that movie. "We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war... " Love it!

I have two
the first was a movie called "Return to Paradise" it had Vince Vaugn and Joaquin Phoenix in it and was about these 3 friends and one was arrested in another country on drug charges. I don't know how or why this movie affected me but it did
the second is of course "Crash" with too many actors to name.

Mississippi Burning. It amazes me how ugly humans can be towards each other over something as meaningless as skin color. If you've never seen it, rent it.
