I was thinking of the Lion King or Spamalot. Would these be suitable for children? Are there any others that would be good to take a 10 year old to?

I'd say the Lion King, or Mary Poppins. Spamalot is supposed to be very good, and funny, but the jokes may be beyond a 10 year old - Monty Python after all. And it has dancing girls in skinmpy costumes. How about Billy Elliot? Or the Sound of Music?

I think that you should do Wicked. Not Spamalot, it is too adult for a 10 year old. When I was in London last I saw Phantom and Woman in White, they were both too mature for a child that age. I also think Mary Poppins may be good. Lion King is also always a favorite with little children. I saw it when i was really young, and it changed my life pretty much. I hope you have a great time!!!

The loin king is great. I saw a short version at eurodisney with my husband and three kids 8, 14 and 16. If you like the loin king the stage show is very well done.

Lion King would be more fun I think, as well as Mary Poppins, the Sound of Music.

Spamalot is funny and silly, but it might be a bit rude in places. Then again, I've grown up watching python, so go for it ;)

I suggest even a 10 year old would "Get" The London performance of "Cats" if the show isn't currently still touring.
